‘Catch Me If You Can’ named one of Leonardo DiCaprio’s ‘Best Films’

While promoting The Wolf of Wall Street, Houma Today put together a short list of the Best Leonardo DiCaprio films.

DiCaprio, age 39, has a nice resume of films and those recognized were Django Unchained, The Departed, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Romeo + Juliet and a Spielberg film.

Making the list is Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can with the follow statement:

“The best Steven Spielberg movie of the 21st century? Probably. And DiCaprio is the beating heart of this biographical drama as Frank Abagnale, a real-life con artist who successfully passed himself off as a pilot and doctor while perpetrating millions of dollars’ worth of check fraud. His cat-and-mouse game with an FBI agent played by Tom Hanks is as thrilling as his fractured relationship with his con-artist father (Christopher Walken) is heartbreaking. And he plays the part with the sort of charisma that makes you willing to believe everything he says.”
