A buckskin-clad teenager fighting fiercely in the battle at the Alamo suddenly faces intense fear and confusion as he stumbles through the smoke and carnage out the front gate and finds himself mystifyingly in 20th-century San Antonio. – IMDB
This is a fish-out-of-water story as Kelly Reno (“Black Stallion”) plays Alamo Jobe who wanders through a time portal removing him from the Battle at the Alamo and dropping him into modern San Antonio, a huge city with break dancers and other 80’s cliches.
Directed by Michael D. Moore, who worked with Steven Spielberg as the Second Unit Director on Indiana Jones films, doesn’t offer much more than the lost protagonist, in awe of the future, gets hurt and now is pursued by the authorities.
The original airing was October 20, 1985.
